It’s the perfect time to celebrate and embrace the lovely new curves of your body, and we are here to capture that for you to remember forever.
Let’s celebrate how incredible pregnancy really is! Book your session with us and we promise you a friendly, down to earth approach, and a welcoming atmosphere so you can relax and really enjoy having your photos taken.
All sessions are held in our spacious and modern photography studios, and you will have complete privacy whilst you are with us, as we never book more than one client session at any time. Lots of mums-to-be are nervous about being photographed, but we can promise you that you will really love your session time with us … we are a female only team, and we’re super friendly! Most clients are amazed when they leave how gorgeous they were made to feel!
One of our favourite things about maternity sessions is that we also get the chance to get to know each other before your baby arrives, which is actually really nice if you’re planning on having a newborn session with us too.
We’ve never heard anyone regret having maternity pictures taken but we often meet mums that regret not having them. Just do it! You can book your session date with us today, any time after your 20 week scan, with a £29 deposit.

Once your pregnancy photo session has taken place, your photographs will be professionally edited and we’ll send you a link to view them in your own private online gallery to make your selections at home. When you have viewed your images please choose from one of the three packages below (The package prices are on top of the session fee)

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY MATERNITY SESSION?
We recommend booking your maternity photography session when you have had your 20 week scan. We can schedule a date based on your due date, and your partner will have plenty of notice to book time off work if necessary. Most women choose to have their bump photographs taken between 32 – 36 weeks of their pregnancy.
HOW MUCH SKIN IS 'ON SHOW'?
This is entirely up to you. We have a look-book at the studio, and you can choose the poses you prefer – as well as how much of you will be covered up – before we start the session.
We do think it’s lovely to show your bump, and if you wish to celebrate your pregnant body even more, you can rest assured that your privacy and dignity will be maintained throughout the entire time.
Most Mums-to-be have a few nerves beforehand, it’s only natural, but every single person leaves the studio feeling amazing!
DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?
We can edit as much or a little as you like – your body your choice!
When we prepare your images for the viewing session, we will be selecting around thirty or more of the best ones for you to choose your favourites, and these images will have been delicately edited, including removing unsightly blemishes, colour correcting, detail enhancing and creative development to create the photos you will see in your gallery.
When making your own selections of the images you wish to purchase, you can request any additional editing which you may feel is necessary, and we can discuss this individually at that time.
CAN MY PARTNER AND OTHER CHILDREN BE INCLUDED IN THE PHOTOS?
Yes of course! We love involving siblings and partners in the photoshoot, and creating special family memories for you both before and after the new baby comes along.
DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
The most important thing to remember to bring with you is always nice underwear / lingerie. What else you should bring largely depends on the style of photos you’re choosing to have taken. For the Fine Art Maternity images, we have a selection of beautiful gowns and wraps for you to choose from, although you’re still welcome to bring your own along too. Hair styling and make up is also important for these images. If you have long hair, we prefer it loose.
Other items you want want to bring along include scan photos, baby clothing, bootees etc and perhaps a small soft toy that we can use for your newborn photo session too.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
Images are not included in the session fee and are available to purchase separately. For a maternity session, you will have approximately 30 images to choose from when ordering.

The Studio is based in the new town of Cwmbran, Gwent, near to Newport and Cardiff, South Wales, UK
We are very conveniently located just outside the town centre with ample free parking right outside our door. The Studio is within easy reach of Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea as well as Chepstow, Abergavenny, Monmouth & Hereford & Bristol
