Baby Sessions

We recommend two stages of your baby’s development for our Baby Photo Sessions.

The first is for around 3 to 4 months old when we can capture your baby’s first smiles and tummy time, we like to call this a “Smiler” session.

The second stage is recommended for when your baby can sit up on their own, so we call this a ‘Sitter’ session. Every baby develops differently, but Sitter sessions are usually scheduled when a baby is around 7 to 9 months old.

If we’re really honest, this is one of our favourite ages to photograph. Sitter sessions are always full of smiles, gorgeous chubby rolls and laughter!

Once your baby’s photo session has taken place, your photographs will be professionally edited and we’ll send you a link to view them in your own private online gallery to make your selections at home. When you have viewed your images please choose from one of the three packages below (The package prices are on top of the session fee)

CAN WE HAVE PHOTOS WITH OUR BABY?

Yes, of course you can. We have up to an hour for your Smiler/Sitter session, which usually allows plenty of time to take family shots too.

WHAT IF MY BABY ISN'T HAPPY FOR THE SESSION?

We are hugely experienced working with this age group and know lots of tricks to build rapport quickly to capture beautiful smiles, cheeky expressions and happy images.

We do limit these sessions to one hour though, as experience has taught us that whilst little babies find us absolutely hilarious for the first 10 minutes, they quickly become tired of playing boo and watching us dance around like a crazy people!

DO YOU PROVIDE OUTFITS?

Yes, we have lots of lovely things in our studio, including sitter outfits and lots of accessories and props.

WHAT SHOULD BE BRING WITH US?

Please bring a minimum of two outfits for your baby – these will be photographed in addition to any of ours (that you are welcome to choose from when you arrive).

A small snack and/or drink for your baby always helps, plus their dummy if you use one, and teething gel can be a lifesaver if they are cutting a tooth.

If your baby loves music, please bring along one or two of their favourites on your mobile phone.

The Studio is based in the new town of Cwmbran, Gwent, near to Newport and Cardiff, South Wales, UK

We are very conveniently located just outside the town centre with ample free parking right outside our door. The Studio is within easy reach of Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea as well as Chepstow, Abergavenny, Monmouth & Hereford & Bristol
